BEFORE CONSIDERING OPEN GYM, PLEASE READ:
What is open gym? Open gym is for dogs with excess energy, dogs in need of friends and playmates, or just an opportunity for you to spend some quality time with your best friend. OPEN GYM IS FOR YOU! This is a new concept that we've developed at Pup 'N Iron to answer the need for a safe place to have fun with your dog. Most are familiar with the concept of dog parks. In theory dog parks sound great, but in reality they could prove to be anything but. Indiscriminantly throwing dogs of different sizes and temperament together can be a recipe for disaster. There are no requirements at dog parks for dogs to have immunizations or be free of contagious external and internal parasites that can be airborne or live in the dirt for months at a time. At Pup 'N Iron it is our mission to combine the best that a dog park could offer along with the controls that they don't.
Open Gym Rules:
- Pup 'N Iron reserves the right to excuse any dog, at any time.
- Aggressive dogs are not permitted on the premises. Dogs will be removed at the first sign of aggression.
- All dogs in attendance must have proof of current immunizations on file (distemper/parvo, bordetella, rabies) - Be advised, handwritten shot records and rabies tags are not sufficient proof.
